How to Choose A Hot Tub Package

If you have already done research into wood fired hot tubs you will know there are lots of options to consider, and this can be distracting when trying to work out which package may be best for you. We have pulled together a few questions we feel may support this process:

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF BATHERS YOU EXPECT TO HAVE?

For example, if you know there will only ever be 2x bathers, you can select ‘2x bathers in the filter on our product page, and this will show options available’ However, we suggest you consider whether you may entertain friends, or have children or grandchildren that will visit. If so, a 2x seater may not be the best option.

WHO ARE THE BATHERS?

If you have children to consider, we suggest looking at the range of hot tubs with steps down into the hot tub: e.g. Steady M, Family M. This is a benefit for your bathing experience because children can join in, but not only this, as an adult bather you can also sit on the steps to cool down, and if you or any of your bathers requires the support of stepping into the tub, this is could be their support.

IT HAS TO BE RED CEDAR, SURELY?

Historically Red Cedar was the go-to outdoor wood of choice. Whilst this is still a popular option, and it is definitely down to personal preference, Thermowood and Stained Spruce have proven themselves as worthy of being included in the Kirami hot tub packages. Please note, the stained spruce is a great option available in DarkWalnut and CoalBlack.

HEATERS, WHAT DO I NEED?

All Kirami hot tub heaters are made in high-grade AlMg3 marine aluminium, which is an excellent heat conductor. Every heater is pressure-tested for leakages before it leaves the factory in Finland.

Heaters have been pre-paired with their hot tubs to form packages by Kirami, however, packages from the Premium and Comfort range have the option to upgrade their heater, this is a popular option in a commercial setting.

FULLY WOODEN HOT TUB OR PLASTIC LINED?

Do you want the real authentic hot tub experience? Then of course you should choose a wooden hot tub with a wood-burning stove. The warm water releases a wonderful wood aroma for ultimate relaxation.

Kirami plastic lined hot tubs are of top Finnish quality. Each hot tub has an LDPE plastic liner with external panels available in Stained Spruce, Thermowood or Red Cedar. As a result they have the look of an original wooden hot tub but are much easier to maintain and clean.
